At the recent Antur Teifi AGM, held at the premises of Caws Cenarth, a local cheese manufacturer in the Teifi Valley, Dewi Williams, Managing Director of Antur Teifi updated shareholders on the achievements of the 2014/15 business year, and gave a brief update on the current initiatives being undertaken at Antur Teifi.On Thursday evening, 24th September four members of Antur Teifi’s staff took a trip to Aberystwyth to attend the inaugural Radio Ceredigion Local Hero Awards. The event was an opportunity to recognise and reward the great unsung heroes of the county.
Perspectif, a new service launched this year by Antur Teifi, has just launched its Market Intelligence report into the Hotel sector, setting out some of the challenges facing businesses in the sector and the opportunities to achieve growth .

Antur Teifi is a social enterprise - a company that has a clear commitment to help businesses perform better, and contribute to a growing economy. The company has 84 staff delivering services for companies and government departments across a range of business functions from Market Intelligence to Business Planning and Finance. In the year to March 2015, Antur Teifi generated an income of £3.5m from its operations.
Poor Broadband service was highlighted by participants in a recent business survey carried out by Antur Teifi as one of the top 5 key barriers to growth.
The business community is dominated by small companies making up 92% of registered businesses in the Teifi Valley. Whilst we deliver work throughout Wales, we believe we have a valuable contribution to make in supporting those small and growing businesses in the Teifi Valley not least by working in partnership with the Teifi Valley Growth Zone created as a result of the findings of the Task and Finish Group set up by Edwina Hart, the Welsh Government Minister for Economy, Science and Transport.
