October 2021 meant a beginning of a career journey for Caleb Murphy and his enrolment on the government Kickstart Scheme offering him work experience at Telemat IT Support. Six months on that opportunity has turned into his first full-time job as a Trainee Technician.
Working at Telemat headquarters at Newcastle Emlyn, Caleb undertakes key support tasks in delivering both IT services for businesses and Town Wi-Fi projects with part of his employment package including studying for IT qualifications.
Manager at Telemat Kevin Harrington commented: “We have been impressed with Caleb’s enthusiasm and energy and the fact that he relishes a challenge and is always keen to learn”.
