The second CCP Networking meeting was held in the Emlyn Hotel, on Wednesday the 5th of December. With a great turn out of businesses once again, delegates were treated to tea, coffee and bacon rolls whilst having the opportunity to chat and hear more about each other’s businesses.
A five minute presentation was given by John Evans of Workways+. He gave a very interesting insight into the work of the organisation which offers training and paid work experience opportunities to long-term unemployed people to help get their lives back on track. Hearing some of the success stories was truly inspirational, not only from the perspective of the unemployed who had secured work but also from that of the employers in giving individuals these life-changing opportunities.
The Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire (CCP) Business Network was set up by Dave and Claire Thomas of Thomas Safety Services Ltd as a non-profit group, and meetings are held on the FIRST WEDNESDAY of each month. (Except January 2019, which will be Wednesday 9th January 2019.) The entry fee is £5 per person which covers the cost of the refreshments,
