The Coronavirus pandemic has amplified inequalities in health outcomes, housing conditions, educational attainment, economic opportunity, and wellbeing.
To address these issues, the Welsh Government’s Counsel General and Minister for European Transition, Jeremy Miles MS, convened a series of expert roundtables and asked the Wales Centre for Public Policy to prepare a series of discussion papers to outline key areas to focus on.
The papers highlight issues that are important for the Welsh Government’s planning for economic and social recovery from the Coronavirus pandemic but are also relevant to public services and other organisations that are developing recovery strategies.
Mae’r pandemig wedi cryfhau anghydraddoldeb o ran deilliannau iechyd, cyflwr tai, cyrhaeddiad addysgol, cyfleoedd economaidd a llesiant.
I fynd i’r afael â’r materion hyn, cynhaliodd Prif Gyfreithiwr a Gweinidog Pontio Ewropeaidd Llywodraeth Cymru, Jeremy Miles AS, gyfres o gylchoedd trafod arbenigol a gofyn i Ganolfan Polisïau Cyhoeddus Cymru baratoi cyfres o bapurau trafod i amlinellu meysydd allweddol i ganolbwyntio arnynt.
Mae’r papurau’n trafod materion sy’n bwysig i helpu Llywodraeth Cymru i gynllunio ar gyfer adferiad economaidd a chymdeithasol yn sgîl pandemig Cofid 19 ac yn berthnasol hefyd i wasanaethau cyhoeddus a chyrff eraill sy’n llunio strategaethau adfer.
