Sean Taylor, award winning co-founder and director of Zip World, was the keynote speaker in a reception held recently at the OpTIC Centre in St. Asaph to mark our 40th anniversary supporting businesses. The event was a great opportunity for businesses to meet Antur Teifi’s full Management Team and all of its Board members.
Sean’s presentation was an inspiriting tale from his days as a Royal Marines Commando before returning to his home in North Wales in 2007. With an obvious hunger for adventure in his blood and a vision of what he could bring to boost the economy of the area, he opened the first of his ventures – Tree Top Adventure near Betws y coed – followed by Zip World in 2013.
Since then, Sean has continued to develop the enterprise whilst always putting corporate social responsibility at the heart of his business activities. Sean is passionate about working closely with communities – a passion that is largely based on the respect he has for his staff, particularly their high levels of expertise and commitment.
We hope that Sean will visit us here soon at Newcastle Emlyn so that we also may share in his experiences and gain inspiration from his ability to continually innovate and reach further and higher.
