The economy of the Teifi Valley has been in the spotlight over the past year, in part due to the work of a Task and Finish Group set up by Edwina Hart, the Welsh Government Minister for Economy, Science and Transport. The aim was to consider how to encourage and support jobs and stimulate economic growth in the Valley via the establishment of a Local Growth Zone. The group submitted its recommendations to the Minister in November 2013.
